Buyer’s trip · 3 days

The fastest responsible route from shortlist to informed offer.

Day one for shortlist viewings at Benoa and Serangan, day two for the independent survey, day three for the sea trial and opening negotiation. Three days covers the full purchase groundwork.

In short

Most visitors using this three-day frame are not chartering. They are flying in to inspect a vessel before making an offer.

  • Attend the survey in person. An hour aboard with the surveyor teaches more than any report.
  • Negotiate while the findings are fresh — the same trip, not a fortnight later by email.
  • Build the shortlist before you fly. Three days is not enough time to also choose what to look at.

The three days

What each day is for

The desk arranges access and owners’ representatives, so the days are spent looking rather than chasing.

  1. Day 1 · Viewings

Walk the shortlist where the boats lie, at Benoa, Serangan or the private moorings.

  2. Day 2 · Survey

The independent pre-purchase survey, which you should attend in person.

  3. Day 3 · Sea trial

Trial under the survey protocol, then a first negotiation session while the findings are fresh.

Three days is the minimum that still allows a survey and a trial. If you are choosing between two or three vessels, the five-day format is the comfortable one.

Tell us when you land.

Send your dates and the vessels you want to see, and we will build the three days around them — access, surveyor and trial slot arranged before you arrive.
