Sea trial conduct
A qualified captain commands every trial, a pre-departure briefing is given to everyone aboard, and the trial is subject to weather. We will lose a day rather than run one marginal.
Standards
Compliance is the part of brokerage that is invisible when it is done and expensive when it is not. This page sets out our own standing, what we verify on a vessel, and what we do on the water.
We are a registered Indonesian PT within Juara Holding Group, and we decline vessels that cannot evidence clean title and a valid clearance position. Both halves matter — a compliant broker listing a non-compliant hull helps nobody.
Before listing
Run in this order, because each one can end the conversation and there is no sense paying for the next.
On the water
What applies the moment a client steps aboard.
A qualified captain commands every trial, a pre-departure briefing is given to everyone aboard, and the trial is subject to weather. We will lose a day rather than run one marginal.
Any vessel we take to sea carries a valid Surat Persetujuan Berlayar (SPB) from the local harbourmaster (KSOP), confirming it is seaworthy and cleared to depart.
A written plan with 24/7 contacts for our team and direct lines to BASARNAS, Indonesia’s national search and rescue agency. Clients are briefed on it before departure.
Vessel and client documentation moves over encrypted channels. Financial details and ownership records are not sent through ordinary messaging.
ISO and SOLAS are largely written for commercial tonnage. Here is how we treat them on private yachts.
Private yachts are usually outside SOLAS. Where a hull was built or is managed to SOLAS or ISO 9001, we say so on the listing, because it narrows what a survey has to find out.
Condition reports come from surveyors accredited by bodies such as RINA or IIMS, instructed by the buyer and reporting to the buyer — never to us.
The legal, financial and technical firms we introduce are checked for their own credentials before we put a client in front of them.

Send the hull details and we will tell you what its documentation position actually is — before money moves.
