In short

One week covers everything a purchase decision needs to see — two markets, one survey, and enough time left to negotiate properly.

  • Labuan Bajo is an hour east by air. Most operating phinisi and liveaboards never come to Bali to be viewed.
  • The eastern leg is optional. If the shortlist is entirely Bali-lying, five days does the same job.
  • Documents and structure are settled in the last two days, back in Bali, where the desk sits.

Two markets, one week

  1. Days 1–3 · Bali

    Shortlist viewings, plus independent survey coordination on the leading vessel.

  2. Days 4–5 · Labuan Bajo

    Optional flight east to view operating vessels with the Komodo market desk.

  3. Days 6–7 · Back in Bali

    Negotiation, structure and documents, with the survey findings in hand.

High season tightens the middle: haul-out slots and crew availability are scarce when every vessel is working, so the eastern leg wants booking earlier than the Bali one.
